Maths Week Fun in Junior Infants! 🔢
We had a fantastic week celebrating Maths Week through lots of playful, hands-on activities. The children developed their maths language using Maths Eyes and Maths Actions as they explored maths all around them. One of the highlights was a buddy Maths Trail around the school with our wonderful 6th Class girls.
We also learned about 2D shapes by making them with everyday objects, tracing around shapes and turning them into real-life objects through our drawings. Along the way, we enjoyed lots of counting activities, making maths fun, active and engaging for everyone.
