Hansel and Gretel Art Activity

Inspired by the story of 'Hansel and Gretel', the children designed and created their own version of a sweet house using bright colours and loose parts.

Food Dudes Week

The children explored a variety of fruits and vegetables using their five senses. The children enjoyed looking at the different colours and shapes, feeling the textures, smelling the fruits and vegetables, listening to the sounds they made when cut or crunched, and tasting some new flavours. Through this hands-on experience, the children learned more about healthy foods in a fun and engaging way.

Reading and Writing

Our Junior Infants have been working hard on their literacy skills! Through a variety of fun and playful learning activities, the children have been practising reading their tricky words and CVC words with growing confidence. They have also been exploring different ways to build and write CVC words using games, matching activities, whiteboards, and other hands-on activities. We are so proud of the progress they are making as they become more confident readers and writers every day!
