Scientist Louise visits Junior Infants
The children discovered that all living things (people, animals and plants) are made up of very tiny cells.
They learned all about using a microscope and the names of the different parts of a microscope e.g. eye piece, lens, light, stage.
The children examined the cells of a thin layer of an onion skin up close using a microscope.
